Ttarp, an East Side manufacturer of automated hydraulic presses, industrial lamination systems, splitters, and automated saws, was established in 1978 but struggled financially until 2013 when Joe McNamara purchased the business.

McNamara, President and Owner, identified opportunities for improvement including incorporating Lean methodologies, stabilizing cash flow, and enhancing Ttarp’s customer service and product development. The collective efforts to address, improve, and implement new processes and practices resulted in significant growth for Ttarp. In less than six years, the company doubled their headcount and experienced revenue growth of 250 percent.

Ttarp is a model small manufacturer. An organization that values their employees, invests in their future, and embraces the resources WNY has to offer for small-to medium-sized manufacturers. To learn more about Ttarp, visit their website or connect on LinkedIn.
