In early spring, the Shift 2.0 team completed our first technology implementation project at Koch Metal Spinning. The team implemented a cobot-based solution for single-sided automated polishing of a flat, aluminum part; polishing operations were required to interface with an existing bench grinder with ability to expend to additional parts in the future. The implementation of this technology will allow Koch to improve safety, and increase consistency. Click the video below to see the cobot in action!
